Each year before spring is heavily underway, Scott and I reflect on the previous year. Perhaps it has something to do with tax time and realizing how much money we spent, I don't know. Anyway, this Year of the Snake started out dramatically with some weather storms destroying a portion of one of our building projects. Scott made the joke that the universe didn't approve the design. We will rebuild it to provide a bug free, shaded and all weather movement and meditation space that is aesthetically improved. To be continued....
Next up, our beekeeping first year was a success! I have learned so much from those amazing little creatures! The next level is underway. Our carpenter built a bee bed for guests to experience the amazing health benefits of bee air and bee vibration while sitting or lying down with the beehives right underneath the surface! We are building this inside of our bee house which is where we will process the honey and bee products. We are even thinking about setting up a tea table so that there are more reasons to hang out with the bees.
Last but not least, we have started to build our paths and stairs, for nature walks and easy navigation to the retreta center amenities like the sauna, mediation deck and gardens.
